Ways to work together

Counselling in a way that feels right for you

I offer counselling in a range of settings, so that the way we work together can feel as comfortable, supportive, and practical as possible. Sessions are available in person, online, or outdoors through Walk and Talk therapy.

Each option offers a different experience, but the heart of the work remains the same - a thoughtful and supportive space to explore what is happening in your life, at a pace that feels manageable for you.

Choose the setting

Counselling does not have to happen in just one way. The setting can shape how supported, comfortable, and at ease you feel, so I offer a few different ways of working together.

In-person counselling

Face-to-face sessions offer a calm, private space to talk things through in person. These sessions are held in Surbiton and East Molesey and may suit you if you value the steadiness of meeting in a dedicated therapeutic setting.

Walk and Talk therapy

Walk and Talk sessions take place outdoors and combine counselling with movement, fresh air, and time in nature. For some people, this can feel more open and less formal than sitting in a room, while still offering space for reflection and support.

Online counselling

Online sessions offer flexibility and privacy, making it easier to access counselling from home or another space where you feel comfortable. Sessions take place weekly at a pre-arranged time, with some early morning appointments available.

Which format might suit you best?

There is no single right way to begin counselling.

The best setting is often the one that feels most comfortable, practical, and supportive for you at this point in your life.

You feel more comfortable meeting in a dedicated therapeutic space, you value being physically present in the room, or you are looking for a calm, private setting in Surbiton or East Molesey.

You may prefer in-person counselling if...

You find it easier to open up when moving, being outdoors helps you feel calmer, or a more natural and less formal setting feels like a better fit for you. Sessions take place in the Kingston-upon-Thames area and are 50 minutes long.

We can think about that together

You do not need to decide everything before getting in touch. If you are unsure whether in-person, online, or Walk and Talk therapy would suit you best, a first conversation can help us think that through together.

I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation, so you can ask questions, find out more, and get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.
